Carlijn Cornelisse is borne and raised in The Netherlands. In 2001 she started studying at the Haarlem Business School which is now known as INHOLLAND University Haarlem. She studied Management, Economics and Law with a specialization in real estate. During her study she went on exchange to the United States for one semester. During this semester at the University of Massachusetts she studied law and management. In the final year of her study she did a 5 month internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers Real Estate Services. In 2005 she obtained her Bachelor in Economics and started her Master in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Sydney. Carlijn has an interest regional and economic development and has the aim to work in the international field.
