Philip Pritchard is the Director and Principal Architect of Neometro Architects and Planners. As a recipient of the New Zealand Government State Services Commission Architectural Bursaries Scheme, Mr Pritchard was appointed to a full time position within the Auckland Office of the Ministry of Works and Development (N.Z.) as a graduate architect in December 1978. Early in his career, Phil was involved in a number of significant projects, including large civic and state projects. In 1985 he was appointed Project Architect to the new Auckland High Court. However, later in that year he resigned his position in order to pursue a Creative Arts Diploma course at a private college in Sydney, Australia. For the duration of the diploma course he took up part time employment with a Sydney based Development Consultancy firm in the capacity of a Project Manager. The projects to which he was appointed included a number of Industrial Park Estates, Multi storey commercial buildings, Resorts and Churches. He then joined another architect and together they formed an architectural consultancy practice in Chatswood under the name of Neometro Architects and Planners. He achieved registration as a chartered Architect in NSW in March 1990 and in Queensland in February 1992.

Mr Pritchard moved to Terrigal to open the Central Coast office of Neometro Architects in January 1989. The rapid growth of the Central Coast region has generated a demand for commercial, industrial and recreational infrastructure. His recent work has mainly involved the planning, design, and construction of commercial centres and large residential developments. His company has completed a medium sized industrial refurbishment and is currently completing construction ocuments for another large industrial complex of a standard that sets it apart from any in the region. We continue to work in medium to large, high quality residential developments. In the past year this has led to Neometro being at the forefront of unique modular housing designs, pioneering a new era within the modular construction industry. In 2003 Mr. Pritchard responded to an invitation to China which has led to the company being actively involved in China working on high quality residential and hotel developments in Foshan and Changsha. Recently designing the Commercial precinct which lines the boundaries of one such development. Neometro also completed a masterplanning and design proposal for a University of Finance Technology Park and Technology Park in Wuhan. Closer to home the Architecture department was involved with asterplanning and design of Platinum, a premier commercial development recently completed on the Central Coast. The Interiors department has completed 12 interior fitout projects within the Platinum building, including many business tenancies, Corporate suites, the Conference entre, the ground floor Lobby, and the Restaurant and Bar. Mr. Pritchard actively participates in professional industry bodies. He is an active member of the State Chamber Australian Business Limited and is an Executive on the Urban Development Institute of Australia committee.

Prior to joining the PRC, University of Sydney, Richard Hu worked in the field of planning, architecture and property development. Carlijn Cornelisse is borne and raised in The Netherlands. In 2001 she started studying at the Haarlem Business School which is now known as INHOLLAND University Haarlem. She studied Management, Economics and Law with a specialization in real estate. During her study she went on exchange to the United States for one semester. During this semester at the University of Massachusetts she studied law and management. In the final year of her study she did a 5 month internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers Real Estate Services. In 2005 she obtained her Bachelor in Economics and started her Master in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Sydney. Carlijn has an interest regional and economic development and has the aim to work in the international field.

Feng graduated from Central South University of Forestry and Technology in 2004 and majored in the landscape design. During four years of studying, he had lots of experience to work with professors doing some design projects. This presents him with skilled drawing; sketching, thinking and operating deign softwares. After graduation, Feng worked as a designer in Hubei Forestry Prospecting and Design Institute for one year. He got more knowledge at dealing with specific procedures of each projects. From July 2005, Feng commenced the master of Urban and Regional Planning in University of Sydney. His ability of communication and planning skills get developed. Sandy Lam is a postgraduate student at the University of Sydney and is studying for her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. She was born in Hong Kong but spent her formative years in the United States. She moved to Sydney three years ago and loves Sydney’s warm climate, beautiful beaches, and greenery – a huge contrast to the concrete jungle of her hometown. Alexander E. Kalamaros

Senior Urban Planner

Alexander E. Kalamaros is a senior planning and development professional whose experience spans the realm of public and private practice and academia. With a focus on large-scale sustainable urban development and real estate project management, Alexander brings over 20 years work experience and proven leadership skills on multidisciplinary project teams. His dissertation, Matching Large Scale Real Estate Project Objectives to Principles of Sustainable Development, is the product of nearly a decade of research on strategies for integrating economic viability with long-term environmental planning and intergenerational values.

Alexander has worked on the planning and development of master planned communities in public-private partnerships and in the nonprofit sector, including the planning, development, management and administration of large-scale urban redevelopment programs of high-revenue generating ground leases. He has worked in the non-profit sector observing and promoting energy efficiencies, on sustainability and smart growth development initiatives in planned communities, and in various parts of the real estate sector for more than a decade, including investment brokerage and management. Alexander holds a doctorate in planning and development and is an AICP certified planner. Stephen Casale has seven years of experience in strategic marketing and communications in China and Asia. At EDAW he serves as chief editor and senior writer, and has helped the firm position itself during a time of consolidation, change and growth. He has raised EDAW’s profile in the foreign and Chinese media to stakeholders beyond traditional design channels, and by advancing EDAW’s knowledge and thought leadership through forums and published work. Stephen was a key organizer of EDAW’s first China Ecological Forum in 2005, created the blueprint for EDAW’s 2006 Sustainable Development Forum, and is a senior editor on a forthcoming environmental handbook in China. Stephen has additionally lead several successful major award campaigns for key projects. Prior to joining EDAW, Stephen worked for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, the largest marketing and communications agency in Asia-Pacific, applying analytical and writing skills to strategic marketing and brand campaigns. He worked on a range of Fortune 500 and local companies in the IT, corporate and service sectors, managing client relationships at senior levels. Stephen directed a successful, three-year reputation-building campaign that helped lead a wireless service provider to its initial public offering on the NASDAQ exchange.
Cinndy Y.H. Zhou

Sr. Landscape Designer

Cinndy Zhou brings six years of work experience and a focus on landscape planning and architecture to EDAW. Cinndy has developed into an experienced project manager and landscape designer in her four years at EDAW, having focused on the practice of landscape planning and design, and on urban landscape planning guidelines for large-scale urban waterfront public parks, wetland parks, city parks, plazas, and top-grade villa and residential sites. Her additional experience in collaborating with various government clients and private developers has allowed Cinndy to develop a proven track record for project organization, as well as excellent communication skills.



Zhefei (Jeff) Xiong

Jeff has been the planner for Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park since June 2000 to Aug 2004. Then he resigned his job for master’s degree in Planning at University of Southern California. He has been accepted by Zhangjiang in Aug 2006 again. He was responsible for the position and contract-out for planning and design projects. He negotiated with the Planning and Design companies as project manager. 14 of his 17 large planning projects (always more than 1Km2 each, master plan, zoning and landscape) have been realized. His two large design bidding projects also have been finished with a total floor area of 57000M2. He has background in Planning, Architecture, Engineering and Economics. He has two undergraduate degrees from Wuhan University, one for Urban Planning and another for Economics. Jeff also served as an intern Since Feb 2006 to Aug 2006 at Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Jeff specializes in Urban Sprawl, multi-function Hi-Tech Park the development of Sub-urban area and Transportation Planning.
